Ordering FAQ & Information

Payment Methods

At A Simple Bijou we accept PayPal and major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express through our secure payment processing system. 

Out of Stock/Back Ordered Items

We try to keep our website inventory as current as possible. On rare occasions you may place an order for an item that is no longer available.  In the event that this happens, we will contact you to either refund you or let you know, suggest an alternative product, or let you know when you can expect your selected product(s).

Order Tracking

Once your order has been placed you will receive a confirmation email.  You will again receive an email when your order has been shipped which will include tracking information.  It may take 2-3 days before this tracking information is updated and begins to show movement.

Shipping Policy & Information

We currently only ship to the continental United States. 

For all orders please allow A Simple Bijou 4 to 7 days, excluding US bank holidays to ship although 1 to 3 days (after processing) is most common for all items.

This shipping time does not include a 3-5 business day processing time. This time provides us time to pull and package your order and prepare it for shipping.

If you ever have a question on the processing time for your order please do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to help.

Shipping times may vary and be delayed due to unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances and may take longer than normal even when following our timeframe guidelines.  During holidays, sales, new releases and times of high volume sales these dates may change but we will keep you updated by email and update our website to reflect that orders may take longer to ship during these times.

A Simple Bijou Standard Weight Based Shipping is the fee charged to ship your items based on our costs and the weight of your order. Most orders ship by USPS or UPS. We occasionally use Fed Ex as well.

Note: Custom orders will be made to order and can take longer which will be discussed upon consultation.

Shipping Costs

A Simple Bijou ships our LUXE SOY CANDLES to the continental United States (Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories are not included.   

We will always chose the most economical shipping method for your order.

  • Orders will typically ship no later than 7 business days after we receive them.

  • Orders are processed and shipped on business days only (Monday- Friday), excluding federal holidays.

Shipping to Multiple Addresses

A Simple Bijou cannot ship one order to multiple addresses.  To ship to multiple addresses please place an order per address. 

International Shipping

Currently, A Simple Bijou does not ship internationally.

Address Confirmation

Please double check the address and phone number you have entered before completing your purchase. If you enter an incorrect address A Simple Bijou may not be able to replace and/or reship your order free of cost to you. 

If you believe you have entered an incorrect address please let us know immediately. If your order ships by UPS or USPS we may be able to reroute your package but this service is not guaranteed to be available in all cases.

RETURN POLICY & INFORMATION

Return Policy & Information

A Simple Bijou has a strict No Return Policy. All sales are final.

If there is an issue with your order or any questions you may contact us at shop@asimplebijou.com. Please include you order.

We are here to ensure your shopping experience with us is the best. If you are unhappy or encounter a problem with your order please reach out to us within 3 days of receipt. 

*There are certain situations where partial and full refunds may be granted. If you feel your return has special circumstances and you would like to discuss, please email us at shop@asimplebijou.com*

Damaged Items/Issues

Inspect you order upon receipt and contact us within 3 days if you find your order defective , damaged or if it is incorrect so that we can evaluate  the issue and make it right.

Refunds on Sale Items

If there is a serious issue and we are unable to fix it in some occasions a full or partial refund may be issued  due to damage or unforeseen situations to your original payment method. Note: please allow time for the refund to post as it may take your bank or credit card company time to process and post to your account.
